WebFeb 1, 2024 · CFE pistol has a relatively slow burn rate. Not what you want for light powder-puff loads. 9mm is a very light recoiling caliber especially in a Glock 17 or 19. If you ever plan on using the gun for defensive purposes it's good to learn how to become proficient with full power ammo.
WebAug 19, 2011 · Well Lyman's #49 has a 120 gn lrn with 4.0 to 5.0 of Unique & 5.0 to 5.6 of Power Pistol. If I were doing a load I would start at 10% lower than the start load for each. Maybe 3.5 of Unique & 4.4 of Power Pistol. OAL shows 1.065 but I like to stay around 1.125 to 1.130 for my SR9c. Hope this helps!
