The warlock is a spell caster that draws its powers from an otherworldly patron, a being of great power. This power is not given freely though and the Warlock is sworn to the patron in some way. WebWarlocks, on the other hand, get their power by making a deal with a powerful being. This being could be a devil, an angel, or even a god. In exchange for their soul or some other form of payment, the warlock gains access to powerful magic. An example of a warlock would be Darth Vader from Star Wars.
