If I get it to a normal chevy 350, I can start tweaking it the way you would for a muscle car, because, I dont drive it everyday and emissions is not an issue. I want some serious performance now and in the future, and I think that fuel injection will limit that.

If you just adjust the crossfire to peak performance and not add any parts it is faster than a TPI. advance the timing raise the fuel pressure and bore out the runners the way they originally were. See the metal that was added to the runners by GM to slow down the crossfire to make the new TPI seem faster.
